- Press Start. You have 2 minutes for all 10 countries.
- Type a country’s name. It counts as soon as it matches and turns green on the map; a country under another letter clears the box, with a note saying which letter it is under.
- Pause whenever you like. When the time is up, the lists below the map show what you named and what you missed.
About the countries that start with P
P has 10 countries: 3 in Asia, 2 in Europe, 1 in North America, 2 in South America and 2 in Oceania. Africa is the only continent without one.

Peru is the largest, Pakistan the most populous and Palau the smallest. Paraguay is landlocked, and Panama has its canal. Papua New Guinea has more languages than any other country, over 800. Palestine is a UN observer state; this site counts it, as in its other quizzes. “PNG” counts for Papua New Guinea.

A country is under the first letter of the name used on this site, ignoring accents. The two Congos are both under C, where most lists put them. Territories and dependencies aren’t answers, and land outside the quiz is shown in a lighter shade.
Spelling: capitals, accents, spaces and punctuation don’t matter, and well-known alternative names count.
The accepted alternative names appear here when your quiz ends, so they don’t give any answers away.
